Buy Kim Major Mitchell Cockatoo

Kim is a 16-week-old female Major Mitchell Cockatoo listed at Higgins Grey Parrots. Her pink and white appearance makes this young bird an eye-catching addition to our cockatoo category. Before reserving Kim, discuss her daily routine and the practical arrangements needed for a settled move to your home.

Major Mitchell Cockatoo: individual details

Kim is listed as DNA sexed, hand fed, weaned, hand raised, tamed, and vaccinated. Ask for her sexing report, vaccination details, and dated feeding information. Because Kim is young, request clear handover instructions covering the foods she eats independently, her routine, and the records supplied.

Preparing your home

Prepare Kim’s enclosure and familiar food before collection. Ask which perch layout and feeding bowls she currently uses so the initial setup is easier to understand. Discuss how her independent eating has been assessed and who to contact if her intake changes after the move.

Plan predictable attention, safe chewing materials, foraging opportunities, and supervised activity. Cockatoos can be loud and need substantial daily engagement. Review VCA’s cockatoo care guidance when assessing your household’s suitability.

Feeding and daily routine

Discuss a balanced diet with an avian veterinarian; seeds alone are inadequate. Provide fresh water and clean bowls daily. Read VCA’s cockatoo feeding guide and our parrot cage and food checklist.

Major Mitchell Cockatoo price and purchase arrangements
